Causes & Symptoms for Trifolium Pratense Complaints of fullness and congestion in the salivary glands is an indication for this remedy. Swelling of the glands is relieved with Trifolium Pratense. Paroxysms of cough more at night is an indication for this remedy. Sensation as if heart would stop, with great fear, better sitting up or moving about; worse, when alone, with cold sweat on face Congestion with cough followed by hiccoughs. Hoarseness and choking spells at night with cough Cramps in muscles better by heat and friction. Affections of the pancreas and salivary glands. The symptoms are worse in close room, better in open air. Mind and head Confusion and headaches on awaking. Pricking pains in the forehead is relieved with Trifolium Pratense. Mouth and Throat Sharp pain through uvula causing tears to start. Hacking cough with accumulation of mucus which must be expectorated. Stomach and abdomen Colicky pains all day indicates the action of Trifolium Pratense. Stool and Anus Unable to pass stool for many days, with bearing down pains. Urinary complaints Uneasiness in region of kidneys, and whole urinary tract. Neck and Back Stiffness of the neck with cramps in the muscles relieved by heat. Extremities Tingling in palms. Hands and feet cold, better by heat and rubbing, with the cough.
