Causes & Symptoms for Gossypium herbaceum Gossypium is mainly used in affection of the female generative organs. The symptoms of the external organs are strongly marked, and the ovaries are the seat of pains which come and go, and in the uterus are bearing-down pains. Gossypium will relieve tardy menses, especially with sensation that the flow is about to start and yet does not start. Mind and Head Pain in cervical region with tendency for head to draw backward with nervousness. Eyes Drawing pain over eyes, with stinging pain in pupils. Stomach and abdomen To relieve the complaints of vomiting. Uneasy feeling with loss of appetite indicates Gossypium. Female complaints Swollen breast with swelling of axillary glands. Stinging pain in both ovarian regions. Menses too watery with gastric pain and debility. Menses scanty and painful or painless indicates Gossypium. Morning vomiting, followed by faintness, unable to rise from bed great distress, weakness, and prostration. Neck and Back Backache, weight and dragging pain in the pelvis. Extremities Heavy feeling in both hands, better hanging them down. Generalities Pains are of a stinging, drawing, tearing, and sometimes of a burning character, extending from one place to another, jumping from one place to another. Pains are generally worse by motion, better by rest. The morning nausea and salivation indicate the remedy for morning sickness of pregnancy.
