Useful in complaints of Sprue- a tropical disease marked by imperfect absorption of food elements, especially fat, xylose, and vitamin B12, from the small intestine, inflammation of the mouth It is a good medicine for complaints arising after affecting the Digestive system. Mouth and Throat Cracks at the corners of the mouth, glossy tongue. Stomach and abdomen Loss of appetite, flatulence, anemia, diarrhea, stomach cramps, and extreme loss of weight indicates Atista Radix. ulceration of the mucous membrane lining the digestive tract. In complaints of stomach Flatulence, pain of gall bladder the medicine gives relief. Stool and Anus Stools are pale, greasy, unformed, and foul-smelling, watery at times. For dysentery both amoebic and bacillary, it gives good results. Patient passes only blood along with intense naval pain.
